Hallo,
Vandaag ook de roze kokmeeuw in de Breebaartpolder gezien. Hierover heb ik ook al eens een vraag gesteld. Type in het zoekvenster het volgende in: ietwat "roze" kokmeeuw.

Eerlijk gezegd dacht ik dat dit normaal is voor vers broedkleed Kokmeeuw die in goede conditie is. Ik heb het vaker gezien. Van het Internet (hoewel ik me afvraag of het echt van voedsel komt, roze worden van bv garnalen is, dacht ik, meer voor Flamingo's):

Strangely in Oban harbour last week there was a very pink Black-headed Gull, really stood out from the crowd as it were. Did I not read somewhere that in some cases this is being attributed to the birds feeding on the food used to feed Salmon at fish farms. It contains an ingrediant to enhance the fishes flesh and make it more acceptabley red for consumers.
